How do I install the elertz client widget?
This is done when you subscribe to an elertz for the first time. The website checks to see if you have the widget installed on your computer or not. If your computer does not have the widget installed then it begins a quick and simple installation process of any or all of the three things required; Adobe Flash Player 9+, Adobe Air Framework and the Widget itself.
Installing Adobe Flash
When you click on an elertz subscription link such as 
the website will detect if you have the correct version of Adobe Flash player 9 installed on your browser. Most (over 90 %) browsers do but if yours does not you will be prompted to install it. That is not difficult and it only takes a moment.
Microsoft Internet Explorer Users
The following describes installing Adobe Flash for Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and above. If your computer's Microsoft Internet Explorer does not have the correct version of Adobe Flash installed it will display the following prompt in the browser window.
CLICK Yes to install Adobe Flash Player. After a few moments flash should install and you will be taken back to the original website where you first clicked the link. Please CLICK the link for a second time
If you don't have Adobe Air installed then please go to the section covering installing Adobe Air. Your browser will prompt you to let you know if Adobe Air is not correctly installed. Other wise please go straight to the section covering installing the Widget
Mozilla FireFox 2.0 Users
The following describes installing Adobe Flash for Mozilla FireFox 2.0. If Mozilla FireFox does not have a version of Adobe Flash plug-in installed it will display the following prompt in the browser window.
Please CLICK on 'Get ADOBE Flash Player'
NOTE! This will open another FireFox browser tab with the Adobe Flash Player download centre displayed. Here you need to download and install the flash plug-in for Firefox.
SAVE the Installer to your desktop, and wait for it to download completely.
Once the file has downloaded please DOUBLE CLICK it
NOTE! You may be prompted if Firefox is still open - which it may well be if you were using it to download Adobe Flash! If so CLOSE Firefox and CLICK on the 'Try Again' button
The installer will run and Flash will be installed. You now need to RE OPEN Firefox and return to the original page where you were signing up.
If you don't have Adobe Air installed then please go to the section covering installing Adobe Air. Your browser will prompt you to let you know if Adobe Air is not correctly installed. Other wise please go straight to the section covering installing the Widget
Installing Adobe Air
The widget installer will now detect if you have the Adobe Air Framework installed, if you do not it will prompt to install it.
CLICK the 'I agree button' to install the AIR framework.
You will then be prompted to install the framework along with the application as follows:
CLICK yes to install the Adobe Air Frame work and the Widget
Installing the Widget
When you first subscribe to an elertz your computer may not have the elertz widget in which case you will be prompted to install it (see image below)
Please CLICK Open. This will start and installer download window (see image below)
You will then be prompted to confirm whether you wish to run the installer or not:
CLICK Install. This brings up a further elertz client setup window
You will be prompted to ensure you are happy to subscribe to the elertz which prompted the installer.
CLICK Yes Please. Thats it! You now have the elertz client widget installed.
How do I uninstall the elertz client widget?
The elertz widget is a piece of software that is an Adobe approved and properly registered with your computers operating system.
In the unlikely event you no longer require the widget you can remove it cleanly by using the Windows Add or Remove Programs section.
For example on Windows XP this is done via Start -> Control Panel -> Add Remove Programs
Under the Change or Remove Programs section select Elertz from the list of installed Programs. CLICK Uninstall
After a moment the widget will be cleanly removed from your computer
